ABOUT ME

What’s up, y’all? I’m Molly Coyne, and I’m a New York City based Actor, Singer, Illustrator, and Fiddle Player. I love Marvel comics/movies, period dramas, comedies of all shapes and sizes, children’s books, Bluegrass music, and plain bagels with tofu cream cheese. I attended college at Denison University, where I majored in Theatre and Music (Vocal Performance), and then headed to Florida Repertory Theatre for an Acting Internship before starting my professional career in Atlanta, GA. I was lucky enough to perform at the Alliance Theatre, Theatrical Outfit, Horizon Theatre, Georgia Shakespeare, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, and the Atlanta Lyric Theatre to name a few. As a crazy kid raised in Atlanta, I am so proud to have performed on those stages and to have learned from so many of the incredible local actors I grew up watching. I’m married to my best friend and fellow actor, Brian Hatch, and we live in Astoria, Queens with our two kitties, Little Stink and Pabu.

A few highlights of my seven years in NYC include, being in the original cast of two new musicals, making my Off-Broadway debut playing fiddle with FunikiJam, performing in cabarets, starring short films, rapping in a Lonely Island Style rap commercial (check out the video page to see THAT!), teaching Barre for Pure Barre NYC, and starting my own Illustration and Graphic Design Business, Molly Coyne Illustration. (If you’re looking for my art, please head to www.mollycoyneillustration.com instead!) I am super proud to be represented by Bobby Holder at Bright Artists Management, and Phil Casesse and Alison Quartin at Stewart Talent for Commercials. I am also a member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.
